  3. Okay, Beak>'s been revisited.
    And here's my new verdict.
    Maybe 3/5 was a tad harsh for the original review - maybe it had something to do with landing around the same time as the likes of the Miike Snow, Orchestre Poly-Rhythmo de Cotonou and Local Natives LPs, all of which I really adored.
    However I still feel that the album comes in waves of utter brilliance and forgettable dross, no doubt the result of throwing the LP together in just 12 days, so my original mark remains.
    Now if Barrow could find a happy medium between 12 days and the decade-plus it took them to do the last Portishead album, then we'd be laughing.
