Anything That Moves will move you

○○○●●

SNOW And Voices album Anything That Moves may be cold, but it speaks to the listener nonetheless.
The LP starts with a country soul sound, like Phantom Limb, behind a delicate Beth Gibbons, Lou Rhodes voice.
However the brilliantly handled production soon begins to creep in, adding a strange, almost sinister element to proceedings.
And this cyborg ballad approach - matching the unsettling effects with innocent vocals, like Dido singing OK Computer - works really well.
