Talking Trash Kit

○○○●●

TRASH Kit's Trash Kit is far from rubbish - but it could do with a tidy-up.
The group's 17-track LP reverberates with Vampire Weekend style Afrocentric attention-deficit jangly guitar licks, Brothers And Sisters indie stomps and Blood Red Shoes male-and-female dual vocals which frequently imitate howler monkeys.
So far, so good - the problem is in the fact that these recordings sound more like a collection of demos by the aforementioned acts rather than finished tracks.
What Trash Kit needs is a producer to smooth off the rougher edges and throw away the excess - and then Trash Kit could be a hot tip.
