TEN-piece band Kings Go Forth's debut album deserves to see the contemporary R&B band making giant strides towards the charts.
With all the soul of the Motown-era classics, and with the verve of a live funk band captured on these studio sessions,
The Outsiders Are Back should see Kings Go Forth labelled as outsiders no more.
With more energy than a red bull drinking Red Bull the band power their way through vintage-sounding tracks like
One Day, I Don't Love You No More and
High On Your Love - all of which could have come out of R&B's heyday.
Plus variety is added by the fact the group boast not one, not two, but three singers, all equally adept - surely the group are set to go down as modern funk royalty.
