Foals gold
TOTAL Life Forever, the second album by Foals, should see their names go down for posterity.
Cementing the promise of their frenetic debut Antidotes, the latest LP sees a calmer approach to their complex sound - almost Sigur Ros-like at times, such as on Spanish Sahara.
Into this space the Oxford math-rock group have given themselves within their music, they've grown in scope.
It's an epic sound, which grows on each listen - math-rock turning into physics-rock, maybe?
