Kit out

○○○○●

TOMORROW sees hotly-tipped Swedes First Aid Kit slinging out their debut release.
And despite hailing from Stockholm, the duo sound for the best part like Russian pianist-turned-New Yorker Regina Spektor playing country and western music.
As the duo's name implies, their sound is a soothing one, residing in a strange halfway house between lo fi strummer and stirring epic.
The result is an intriguing one, but for me, this needs addressing - the bones of brilliance are there, but First Aid Kit could do with the aid of a band for their full-length debut.
